For Jack's 161st birthday in 2011, the distillery took its then-new Evo bottle, wrapped it in matte black and labelled it the "2011 Birthday Edition". Inside is 80 proof (40% ABV) Tennessee whiskey in a 70cl bottle, charcoal mellowed through sugar maple before ageing in the house style. The striking black finish makes it a standout display piece, and it suits collectors chasing the birthday series or anyone celebrating a 2011 milestone. It can be opened and enjoyed neat or on ice, though most buyers keep it sealed. Discover more limited releases in our Jack Daniel's special edition collection.
