Tasting Notes:

Nose : full-bodied, distinguished. Wavering between notes of mango, apricot, heather honey, orange and vanilla, the first nose is impressively precise. Allowed to breathe, cocoa powder, green liquorice, burnt wood, clove and curry create an olfactory entity of rare richness. Little by little as time passes, sweetcorn, rose petal and gentian root take centre stage.

Appearance : orangey copper.

Palate : clear, lively. The very floral attack (geranium, tuberose) reveals exotic fruits (mango, guava) and red fruits (raspberry, strawberry) on a mineral backdrop (slate, pencil lead). The deliciously vanilla and praline mid-palate is also herbaceous (tobacco), candied (apricot), tertiary (walnut, chestnut) and floral (purple lilac).
